Carnegie Hall welcomed five Breguet clocks to its prestigious halls for a long standing performance of quintessential time.
An exclusive reception was held at Carnegie Hall on February 7 to celebrate the installation of five additional Breguet clocks to be placed throughout Carnegie Hall. Breguet’s Brand Manager Michael Nelson and Carnegie Hall’s Executive and Artist Director Clive Gillinson hosted an exclusive reception, escorting guests for an up and close personal view of these amazing clocks.
Guests were visually entertained by the classical features synonymous of Breguet watch brand. This artist quintet of clocks feature the time honored blued Breguet hands, guilloche dials, caseband fluting, and the Breguet enviable tourbillon. Four of the perfectly timed quintet (clocks) is from Breguet’s Classique collection with the fifth member of the ensemble hailing from the Reine de Naples collection. The Reine de Naples collection is notable as it was first wristwatch Breguet invented to pay tribute to the Queen of Naples Caroline Murat, sister of the historical French General Napoleon Bonaparte.
This amazing ensemble of clocks will perform their “Endless Rendition of Time” throughout Carnegie Hall in the following areas:
Citi-Café (Reine de Naples).
Placement of the Breguet clocks in Carnegie Hall opens and establishes an ongoing partnership between both organizations and their combined efforts to develop a commitment in support of the arts and culture, and cultivates it for future generations.
Clive Gillinson spoke at the reception and commented on the notable collection saying, “Carnegie Hall and Breguet share a unique bond based on our rich history of dedicated artists who ‘keep their eyes on the stars, and their feet on the ground’ if I can adapt a quote from Teddy Roosevelt.”
Indeed, visitors attending Carnegie Hall for time honored performances will have the pleasure of feasting their eyes on “Breguet’s timely stars” while walking through the inner sanctum of this iconic performance hall.
Breguet is an innovative brand whose creative watch designs have transcended time in its artist presentation of timepieces, marking and establishing horological ingenuity that evolves with each generation of luxury watch connoisseurs.
