Girard-Perregaux has launched a stylish and elegant timepiece for watch lovers called New 1966 Lady Timepiece. The Girard-Perregaux 1966 collection was first introduced in 2006 as the Swiss brand paid homage to the 1960s era. In 1966, Girard-Perregaux launched its first High Frequency movement, which became known for its accuracy and performance. GP went on to win numerous chronometer certificates by the Neuchatel Observatory for its commitment to innovation. The GP 1966 collection pays tribute to the great work of that era with beautiful watches that come in an ultra-thin, classically styled cases.
The new Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady timepiece comes in a 30 millimeters rose gold or white gold case with gold cladding set with a border of diamonds. It has alternating satin and polished finishes. The bezel is set with 80 diamonds. Inside the case is a caliber GP03200 that powers this watch. The mechanical movement can be seen through the sapphire back, which has an oscillating mass in pink gold engraved with the Girard-Perregaux logo. It also has a main plate and bridges meticulously drawn, decorated and beveled with Cotes de Geneva. The movement oscillates at 28,800 vib / hr frequency (4 Hz) and has a power reserve of up to 42 hours. The dial of this GP 1966 Lady timepiece has a beautiful guilloche decoration. It features brilliant cut diamonds as hour markers and roman numerals at 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock and foliate hands. Completing the look of this watch is a calfskin band that comes in either black or white with a pink gold pin buckle.
